Historical Note

The Department of Pediatrics in the College of Osteopathic Medicine was formed circa 1979 and is concerned with the health care of the developing infant, child and adolescent. The department's primary responsibility is to provide osteopathic students, interns, residents and physicians didactic and clinical experiences in osteopathic medicine as they relate to this age group.
