William Purdy Peters (1908-1983) attended Michigan State College from 1926 to 1928. He stopped going to college in the middle of his sophomore year in order to get married and start his career as a dairy farmer.

William Purdy Peters papers consist of a nine page paper entitled "Opening Closed Doors," which describes Michigan State University from about 1926 to 1928, when Peters was a student.
