Biographical Note

William Fraser graduated in 1870 with a B.S. from Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University) and then attended Rush Medical College and received a M.S. He died on October 6, 1895.

Eugene Francis Law graduated in 1873 with a B.S. from Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University) and then graduated from the University of Michigan law school with a LL.B. in 1892. He was a Circuit Judge in the 31st Michigan Circuit Court.

Frederick E. Miller attended Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University) for two years from 1866-1868.

Scope and Contents note

The collection consists of photocopies of letters written by William Fraser, Eugene Law and Fred E. Miller to John C. Fraser, his wife Mrs. Eliza M. Fraser or John Fraser (father of William and John C.) The letters describe their life at Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University). They write about work, classes and activities. Other topics included the buildings, professors, weather, sports and politics.
